No sound alert of new messages

So my phone did an update yesterday, samsing a52S and now i get no notification of new texts/whatapp messages. I've checked and none of them are on mute. I turned the phone on and off, didn't work. I reinstalled WhatsApp, Nada.

Beca is the volume for notifications set high enough?

Hi. Yes it's on max. I just don't understand wht it's not alerting me.
