My mobile was working fine first thing this morning, then mid-morning it has "no service" with no 4G signal to make calls or using roaming data.
Does anyone have the same issue?

Yes I've tried that a few times but no joy. I have been on the Wiltshire/Oxfordshire border today.
Now at home with Wi-Fi but still 4 dots where it should be the 4G symbol. I have an iPhone 14, only a few months old. SIM card been active from my old phone (an iPhone 😎 into this one. I've had no issues like this before?
