Discussion topic: No power to new phone

No power to new phone

So was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. So I got my new device delivered from sky today . When I unpacked it and turned it on nothing happened. It won't power on not even when attached to power charger it is totally unresponsive. Do I complain to sky or apple ?

Have you tried this:

If this doesn't work and if you have an Apple store near you then you could see if they can help.

...but Sky would be responsible to repair/replace/refund.

 

You do not need to order a new phone - this is sometimes what they suggest...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Please my sky number is still not working after 24hours activation. I just can't go out without my phone on so please kindly call my number and restore it. my name is Cynthia

You're not talking to Sky here - just other customers.

If the battery is fully depleted it can take a few minutes for the charging icon to show onscreen. How long have you waited? 
Are you using a genuine Apple charger & cable or third party? If third party charging brick then it may not be fast charge compliant so will be slower.
