I have just been given a Google Pixel 6 unlocked. I used to have a Samsung Note S20 and all the time I had it everything was fine. When I put the SIM in to this phone I immediately got a text saying 'The terminal cannot be configured remotely, please contact Customer support for further assistance'.
It worked in everyway except for no 3g or 4g. I can get LTE and Edge and obviously WiFi works. I tried requesting APN settings but they don't come through. I tried manually entering them, doesn't work. Tried resetting, nothing. Spoke to Sky, they said they'd send me a 5g enabled SIM. I activated it, put it in, same text message, same result, can't get APN settings. Spoke to Sky again and they best they can suggest is taking the SIM out, rubbing it and putting it back in!! Anyone got any ideas?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you tried creating the APN settings yourself:
This will need to be done at somewhere like
Settings > Mobile Data > Create New Access Point...
Name: Sky Mobile Internet
APN: mobile.sky
Save and restart phone.
