New sim not working for my brother Steven Kerr he has no iPad so I am trying to help him

My brother Steven Kerr was given a £5 a month unlimited phone and texts but it isn't working his phone is asking for input SP code  sky advised and has billed him please can you help

Is this unlimited phone unlocked,. it would be if it was from Sky so was it from Sky ?

Hi @Marie120  input sp code normally refers to a service provider code when a phone or device is locked to another network. Did he get his device from sky ?

He had a problem with his sky dish but the man managed to sort it over the phone he could see how much Steven's phone bills were so it must be sky

Ten it is locked to a different network which is why he is seeing this message as it will need unlocking from the network it was previously used on.
