New phone - can i use my exising sim

I have just purchased a new phone which came with a 100mb contract sim.

I also have a sim only contract with sky. Can I use the sim only contract in my new phone instead?

Yes, you'll want to if you want to keep your phone number...

Also, 100MB  is virtually nothing (and not designed for general use).
