New phone agreement accepted but then gets cancelled

Hi, wondering if anyone has had a similar issue although I bet the reasoning can vary person to person.

I took out a plan for the fold 7. Initial checks all passed and I payed the upfront cost. After a short while I then get an update saying they are canceling the plan due to further checks. I have checked my credit and it pretty good no negative impacts that experian would show and the score is very hire, so I am at a lost on why it is being rejected.

I am currently out of the UK so not sure if this could be why and maybe its flagging a fruadulant maybe. I would wait till I am back in the UK but the deal SKY are offering with the storage upgrade and watch would have expired by then and is the main reason I am trying to do it now.

Long shot if anyone else is experiencing the same I have had several phones and sims from sky in the past

Be aware that if you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score. If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record.

Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to call Sky to chase it up.
