New mobile account with Sky but can’t make calls

Hi joined sky and moved my old number to Sky via PAC code- I activated the new sim with sky as per process - but  I can't make call but can receive- my phone says my phones sim is not provisionalised - any ideas please

There's lots of problems atm with all the mobile companies! Have you restarted your phone, turning it on and off. That might work.

Thanks for the response - i have followed all the advised methods including reset of network settings airplane mode on off Wi-Fi on off phone on off but no joy

Can anyone help me please - any advise would be most welcome - it's not a generic sky  problem as my partner is also on Sky and has no issues receiving calls or sending text message - I can't do either -😡

As your sim actually activated so what does it show the status of it on your account (where you activated it) ?

Hi thanks for the response - my phone says it's still on My old provider in primary settings but below this it says the phone with sky Wi-Fi call on my mobile data 🥹

Yes 100%

Got an email to say I am up and running with sky after activating the sky SIM card

But I can’t make phone calls And the sim setting says the sim is not provisionalised - what ever that means
I can receive  calls when usif. Wi-Fi

I would suggest calling Sky about this or if you don't have another phone then they can be contacted via social media links of which are at the bottom of this page.
