I've just purchased the iPhone 14 Plus through sky mobile. (3gb data unlimited calls and texts £23 per month)
For background I have the iPhone 11 with O2 (sim only contract £15 per month for 20gb data and unlimited calls and texts) who I've been with forever and have a small business so my thought process was to have the new phone as my personal phone and put my O2 sim in that (due to better data plan and pricing) and put the new sim in my old phone to have as my work phone (sorry if that's confusing)
However I've just realised the iPhone 14 doesn't have a sim holder as it's all done by eSIM now so my question is can I download my O2 sim to the new phone (O2 offer eSIM) and my sky eSIM sim to the old phone.
I hope I can as my O2 contract has more data and I don't want to transfer the number to sky and lose the benefits from O2.

If it's a UK model then it has a physical SIM slot.

Re: New iPhone with eSIM but want to use old provider
Apologies if I'm sounding stupid, from the photos on the sky website I couldn't see this port and they also sent in the confirmation email about activating the ESIM so if this is the case would what I've said above work?

Re: New iPhone with eSIM but want to use old provider
The UK version of the iphone has both a physical sim and an esim as you can read about here:
https://www.apple.com/uk/iphone-14/specs/
SIM Card
Dual SIM (nano-SIM and eSIM)
So the sim from your old iphone will work in your new iphone 14.

Re: New iPhone with eSIM but want to use old provider
After reading that it shows a model of the phone with labels but I can't see where the physical sim would go?
thank you
