New SIM, (only) incoming calls cutting off immediately. Handset configuration.

Incoming call flashes up and disappears.

 

Also had the following message, no idea what it means nor what I should do:

 

SkyMobileUK will send handset configuration for the following services; MMS GPRS and Internet Browsing GPRS. Please accept any settings. If asked for a PIN, please use 1111

There should be some settings sent through to your phone which you need to accept so that your phone is updated to work on the Sky mobile network.

Not heard any more about the 'Handset Configuration',  still no wiser!

 

Incoming calls cutting off immediately. Outgoing calls and outgoing and incoming texts work.

You could try ordering a replacement sim to see if that helps so if this link doesn't work:

 

https://www.sky.com/productsettings/mobile/sim/x/replacement-sim

 

If you can't then will have to contact Sky, perhaps via social media as there are links at bottom to their sites.
