New SIM card not working "not registered on network"

Hi I recently transferred my number to Sky from O2. I have kept my original number and followed all the processes to set up my new SIm in my phone. I thought all was good as within minutes everything was working. 24 hours later I am not receiving any calls / texts and I am getting a message on my phone " Not registered on network" I have followed all the online chats re resetting network settings on my phone, requested network settings via the app, nothing happens here, although a confirmation has been sent to my phone, but cant see this anywhere. Tried calling Sky, but cant talk to anyone as the automated service does not understand my issue..

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

When the phone bot asks you what the issue is have you tried saying nothing and keep quiet ?

Re: New SIM card not working "not registered on network"

I have not ried this. I have been on a call with a call centre in India, tried trouble shooting with them. They were unable to resolve ( and I got disconnected twice). I am now waiting in a queue to be connected to the Network Team..

Re: New SIM card not working "not registered on network"

I have went through more trobleshooting with an engineer from their Network Team, no joy. I also tried inserting the SIM card into another phone " Not registered on network" message displayed, which proves it is the SIM card. They are now sending out a new SIM card
