Never recommend Sky Mobile - Faulty Google Pixel

I've had an ongoing problem with my sons Google Pixel 8 for 8 months, wont connect to WiFi, or pickup any Wifi points.

Phone was sent to EE for repair, three months later, same fault has reoccured.

I've been trying to get a pacakage for handest return from Sky, for 4 weeks now, and constantly getting passed around India with Skys customer sevive mobile team, who are beyond clueless, and continually transfer me around different departments.

Last call was 110mins, and some idiot just hung up on me.

Has anyone any advice so I can get this phone returned and get a replacement

@Lovejoy1888

I'm confused. If you got the phone from Sky why was it sent to EE for repair?

@Lovejoy1888 Im guessing it started around April this year? If so it is probably related to the update that happened around that time as thre have been many reports of this issue accuring after the April update, unfortunately if that is what has caused the issue there seems to be no fix and it may not be covered by the warranty. You will have to call Sky and again to try to convince them to book it in for a repair.

The only thing that i can suggest that may help is to try the following(It probably won't work but its worth a go),

Go to Settings > System > Reset optionsSelect "Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth"Tap "Reset settings"Restart your phone after the resetThis process will erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth connections, so you'll need to reconnect to your networks afterward.

Disable Adaptive Connectivity.
