Needing to upgrade my 4g sim to a 5g sim

Hello, I am buying a new phone with Sky and I need help in how to order a replacement sim.

The issue is that my current sim card is only 4g compatible, whereas the new phone is 5g. My current sim plan is on my mum's account and I would like to keep that package (we share data), but the new phone contract will be on my own account - so I just need a new 5g sim that is on my mum's account with the old plan.

I cannot seem to find how to do this, as the website says that Sky sends an upgraded sim with the upgraded phone - but I am not upgrading the phone through my mum's account.

Can someone please advise on how to upgrade the sim, keeping my phone number and old deal, so that I can use it in my new phone?

Hi @beckie4 the sky sims are 5G ready. All you need to do is activate the 5G add on in your account.
