I physically blocked this number 85222 and that it is down to the responsibility of my mobile provider, SKY to follow my wishes and Sky have said they still cannot block premium texts. I cannot believe it. I have been charged £305 since October 2022. They offered me £15 credit on my account...... its absolutely awful. The advisor said he had several similar calls with the same issues, even vunerable older people, and Sky is unable to do nothing.
I did everything, STOP to 85222, it keeps failing.
I was already unsubsribed to Daily Alerts.
I told Sky now that I have reported this issue I refuse to pay any further charges. That I will stop my direct debits and pay as I go and i will NOT BE paying these £1.50 text charges that I have requested to BLOCK! Absolutely awful service. I am so disappointed, SKY should be protecting their customers of this. Sky is making a lot of money from this. £305 from me! That could pay for my months gas bill!
I am going to WATCHDOG with this.

If you have text stop to the number and you are still getting the texts you need to report it to the Phone-paid service authority, they should be able to help get the charges stopped(you can also get contact information for the companies that use that number, there are 3).
