My number which Ive had for over 20 years has been cloned ..

My number which Ive had for over 20 years has been cloned .. sky have passed me from pillar to post and now fobbed me off by directing me to the website to locate my problem,  which does not exist on the website ... anyone able to help please  ?

What do you mean by 'cloned'? What's happening.

More likely someone is 'spoofing' it so it looks like a call is coming from your number.

 

There's currently nothing you can do / they usually move on.

 

Looks like there will be changes next year to prevent such spoofing - Sky seem to be signed up to it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @anne.mcpherson  yes that definitely sounds like someone has spoofed your number, it was on the news this week that the networks are looking at ways to stop this hopefully within the next 12 months. Thankfully they usually move on to someone else's number fairly quickly.
