My number is being used by someone else

I received a phone call from a lady who said she just had a call from my number, I haven't made any calls today.

Not sure if someone is piggybacking on my contract or mobile number.

Not sure what to do about it?

There is nothing you can do @Emma986 because what is happening is someone is making phone calls and doing it to make it looks like it is coming from your number so they are hiding the actual number they are using. You might get a few of these but after a while they should stop. If they don't and you have had this number from Sky for 12 months or more you can cancel it by calling Sky and asking them to order another one for you that will come with a different number and while there there is nothing to say this couldn't happen again you would have to be unlucky for it to happen with two different numbers.

I had such situation few days ago. Must be some kind of scam.

The number is being spoofed and after a while the non genuine user will move onto another number. There's nothing a provider can do to stop this.
