I've recently swapped my SE for an iPhone 12. The new phone needs charging after only a few hours and I am not someone who uses it all day and every day! It's very annoying!

You might want to look at the battery settings on your iPhone to see what's apps are running and if there are any that you do not use then you should be able to restrict them which will save some battery.
