My Sky Mobile order was cancelled

I am currently a client of both Sky Stream and Sky Mobile within contract and I had never missed a payment. However, when I wanted to subscribe to one more plan as a data sim for my iPad, I got rejected with reason as below:-

"As part of our normal application process, we carry out further checks using the details you provided in your application. We consider any current or previous relationships you may have had with Sky and we participate in data sharing with Credit Reference and Fraud Prevention agencies. As a result of our checks we are unable to proceed with your Sky Mobile order."

Is that any methods for me to understand what's wrong, or can they check and resume my order if it's just a mistake?

Be aware that if you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score. If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.

Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to contact Sky to chase it up.

Thanks and any suggestions what else I can do? Actually I didn't order any devices but a SIM only, that should be fallen in their "sky credit builder" category...

I believe Sky do carry out a light credit check against a sim package which is why you have been sent that email declined your order.

so is there anything else i can do? like can i order again in a month? i really need one more for data sim / backup so sky with piggybag is the best choice so far...
