My Sky App Requires Sky Glass account details to "Find my account"

Trying to move to Sky Mobile (Ireland) - got through to a very helpful person on a call earlier - and have now purchased it - HOWEVER I need to get access to the eSim activation - and for that I believe I need My Sky.

 

I do not have Sky Glass - nor do I want it - however when I install the My Sky app I get asked -
1) User name and Password -> Fine no worries.
2) EirCode - Again no worries
3) How do you purchase Sky Glass - Card or Direct Debit -> ummmmm - neither.

 

 

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

 

(I do not have ANY other Sky product - I used to be a customer YEARS ago) .

Cannot find ANY help online and the WhatsApp conversation was less than useless.

What username and password are you using, is it from your account that you previously had with Sky ?

My email address (so yes it was registered years ago). But even then I never had sky glass 🙂

That account will have been long since closed so you will need to setup a new one to use.

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
