@steven12321  Yes she can pay the remaining balance in one lump sum but would need to call sky to do so and be crystal clear with the agent what the payment is for

For a device contract the outstanding balance can be paid at any time.  (It's not cancelling)

Dataplans are different (You cannot cancel if subject to a minimum term without paying an early exit charge).
