Moved over from EE and no longer receiving Verification texts

Moved from EE and ported my number, and now can't receive verification texts or any texts it seems apart from sky, done all the remedial checks and nothing works and now it seems this is a common problem, how do I get this resolved? Spoke to sky today and they are just sending a new sim but I don't think that's going to solve the issue

If a new doesn't fix it then you will have to speak to them and insist this is reported through to one of their teams to get investigate for you.

Yes I have just got off the phone with them as I wasn't going to wait, she knew straight away luckily enough as she asked was it a EE number previously and just understood the issue and put it straight up for her manager to look at as it's a network issue, so hopefully within 24-48 hours it will be sorted, but let's see.
