Move kids onto their own account- what age?
How old to my children have to be to get their own account? I currently have 4 children and 4 sims. My 16 yo has started working and I wondered if he can be detached from my account and have his own??

@CiCi8 They have to be 18 to have there own account, however hardware and sims cannot be transferred between accounts under any circumstances

Re: Move kids onto their own account- what age?
Once at the permitted age he would need to move his sim to another providers PAYG, then if he wishes he can open his own Sky account and move it back to that. As stated above he can't move directly from Sky account to another Sky account.
Dont forget he'll no longer be able to share the data in your Piggybank.

Re: Move kids onto their own account- what age?
Roughly speaking, in UK law under-18s are not deemed to have 'contractual capacity' apart from in specific and limited circumstances deemed as 'necessaries' (such as housing, employment, education)
Contracts executed by a minor are generally voidable at the minors option, so just aren't going to be offered by commercial suppliers in most cases.
