Sky coverage says there's an issue in our area and are looking into it.
Although why your wife's device would work I wouldn't know but unless the issue at your local mast is fixed this could well continue to happen. See what happens if you go further afield so your device has to connect to a different mast.

@caesarome thanks for your comments. We went back to the park around 6 miles from us and it's the same, but my wife's works, as usual?

@caesarome I looked at one of your answers on another related article. Checked the APN's and the only one was the MMS. So added the internet as you had said and all working. Thanks for all your help.

Hi @Iain073 @caesarome! I think my daughter is having this same problem with her new Motorola G14. Could you link the related article you mention please, or summarise the fix which worked for Iain? I've not been able to track it down.
Thanks,
Tim

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUsually for an Andriod phone these are the settings:
Name: Sky Mobile Internet
APN: mobile.sky
Which are usually found somewhere like settings > mobile data.
You can also have them sent to the phone:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

Thank you - I'll try that.

Yep - that sorted it, thanks. Once you'd pointed me in the right direction, I could copy the APN settings for internet from another phone on the network.
