Money taken after cancelled purchase

Hi, I made an upfront payment for a laptop on the 18th which was cancelled on Sky's end, I received an email saying I'd receive a text confirming my refund. I didn't get the text and upon checking my bank account the money was taken out yesterday on the 22nd. I'm failing to understand why the money was still taken 4 days after the purchase was cancelled and what this means for my refund as I didn't get a text confirmation like the email stated and the money was taken anyway.

Do you see anything on your account like a credit card?

The money might have already been in

tne process of being taken when your order was cancelled.

Usually an automatic refund will see it refunded so as this can take a few weeks you might want to call Sky to ask tjem

to do this for you.

No, can't see anything like that but the payment already being in process at the time  makes sense. Thank you! I'll give sky a call
