I paid my phone bill manually, but it isn't showing as paid on my bill. I don't want to get charged twice

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePayments aren't processed at a weekend as banks are closed. You should have a direct debit or continuous card payment set up so there's no need to make a manual payment unless Sky ask you to.

note payments like this need to be shown on your account at least five clear working days before payment is due to prevent the automatic payment cycle from occurring
