MacBook Air and sim card

I purchased a MacBook Air for my daughter for Christmas and added on some data. We haven't received the SIM card and can't get to talk to anyone, not sure what to do next?

@DebbieR

MacBook hardware has no way to use data directly: they don't have SIM / eSIM capability or contain the electronics required to receive a cellular data signal.

Was this SIM intended for an existing phone or a mobile router?

Re: MacBook Air and sim card

@TimmyBGood @So I've just discovered! It was part of a deal they had running before Christmas 10gb data for £5 when you bought the MacBook Air. Anyhow finally got to talk to someone and sim cancelled thanks for your reply 😊
