Looking to upgrade but unsure if there will be a charge for the current phone?
I have a phone contract and it's saying I can upgrade. Do I have to pay the outstanding balance before I upgrade

The idea is you purchase your new phone and return the old one.
Subject to residual value/condition the trade in should hopefully cover the outstanding credit.
(If it doesn't then the difference is payable in full on the next bill - in the unlikely event there's a credit then this is credited to your account to reduce future bills)
I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
