Just activated sim....signal really bad 2 bar and just H

Hi there just activated sim car not long ago ans installed those settings that sky send.

But signal is not usable at all in my home, its 2 bars but just H. Even speedcheck tests dont work its that bad.

Came from ID mobile where i got 5g....sky and o2 dont so 5g in my town but says 4g is very good on the checker but im not getting even that.

Does anyone know how to fix this as its not suitable at all

It says the following

Our Network can get busy in this area.

This means your data could be slower than normal. We’re sorry about that. Our team is aware and working to make it better. Our top tips for staying connected would be to find local Wifi hotspots and download whatever content you need whilst connected to Wifi, so you can still enjoy it on the move.

Updated 15:36 (refreshed hourly). Recent faults might not show yet

Also noticed theres no wifi calling option when sky simcard is in, but there is with id mobile

I need atleast 4g so hope it gets fixed or ill have to cancel contract as it will be useless

Then that appears to be what is causing your issue.

Re: Just activated sim....signal really bad 2 bar and just H

Oh hopefully as that means i should get something useable when sorted

Do you know why sky shows no wifi dalling option. I searched and sky said if handset supports id that they have wifi calling and mine does as ive used it with id mobile

Just in simcard settings for the sky one theres no wifi calling option like there is for my id mobile one

It seems the message has now changed to the following on that link you sent

This makes it sound now that they are saying signal is just not good and when they say they are looking to make it better....sounds like they are not really doing anything and its just waiting till they shove another mast somewhere lol

Im gonna see if i can cancel though i got this sim with my new ipad so not sure
