I notice that it's not possible to make calls from my Sky Mobile phone by applying the prefix 141 to the number. Every time I hear an error: "Sorry this number doesn't exist." I did come across a post elsewhere dated 2019 that suggested using #31# as a prefix instead because Sky didn't support 141, but that results in the same error.
Fear not, I'm not a scammer or a stalker, but I have had to change my number several times when it's been leaked either deliberately or inadvertently by companies, so I'm apprehensive about supplying my number these days. And if I have to call, I prefer to obscure my number to prevent data harvesting.
Is there no way to make an anonymous call using Sky Mobile?

Hi @63johnw ,
The plot thickens. It seems I can call other Sky Mobile numbers applying the 141 prefix, but no 0800 / 0300 numbers etc. When you tried it, were you calling another Sky number?
Thanks.

@63johnw That's interesting. It seems I can also dial a 01865 number applying the prefix, but most of the numbers I've tried don't go through. It's odd that some numbers go through while others don't. Could it be a routing/config issue? (That may be a rhetorical question...)

@JoSo Did you ever get a resolution to this? I too require to disguise my number to make work calls from my personal device but people are calling me back even though I put in 141 beforehand.
Ive recently moved from Vodafone to Sky mobile and I believe all worked well with Vodafone.
any help would be most appreciated
