Iphone shows 4G however there is no data

Hi there,

Recently obtained an iphone as the android issues with no data on call and no data after a call were doing my head in.
I now find that the iphone displays 4G, but there is no data connection.  When I restart the phone I get the message that the phone could not activate the mobile data network..  If I turn off/on Mobile Data in settings, the 4G indicator is available but there is no data.  I have tried the phone with another providers sim and it works 100%

I'm getting really frustrated

Is the phone network locked?

No, the phone is unlocked to all networks.  Tried UK O2 and Vodafone Ireland sim and both worked.

Hi @Banana5kin  have you checked the correct APN settings are stored on your phone ?

Yep, the apn settings are stored and I also reset the network settings and requested the settings through the web site.

Funny that, I was considering converting it to an Esim, but the iphone needs internet access to fulfill the request!!

You could call sky on 150 @Banana5kin  and ask for a replacement physical sim.

Ahh, yeah found a 0818 number for support, new sim ordered.  Crossed fingers!!
