Re: Iphone 16+ Getting serious hot on charge help
Hi @Andrea6187 is the charger plug from Apple ? Ones purchased from the likes of eBay etc can cause this sort of issue if they don't fully comply with UK regulations.

Re: Iphone 16+ Getting serious hot on charge help
Yes Apple Charger wouldnt use anything else, Wouldnt risk my life, Its been charging my watch for 2yrs this dec with no problems, Soon as I put the new lead from the new phone box into this plug this is the result, I am finding alot of people having problems with the leads from the boxes and the serious heating of the phone, Many Thanks

Re: Iphone 16+ Getting serious hot on charge help
If there is an Apple Store near you you could go there and get them to look at the phone if you are convinced the phone is faulty. Failing that see the link below for returning to sky @Andrea6187

No one has been rude. Remember, we are fellow customers trying to help you. The advice given about going to an Apple Store or sending the device to Sky is quite relevant.
