Re: In Canada but after 4 days data stopped working

Hi

Your SOS issue may still be Sky related, but as Canada is such a large country mobile phone coverage can be patchy. I'm currently in PEI and off to Nova Scotia tomorrow. So far, since making my change 48 hours ago, coverage has been rock solid on PEI.

Re: Mobile not working in Canada

I have had similar issues and have bought an esim from Saily but that is not working either I am having to rely on wifi to try and troubleshoot my issues. I have tried all the tips on the sky mobile troubleshooting, including adding manual APN. Very frustrated with Sky as it worked for a couple of days from the 26th May but has now stopped. Any tips would be helpful, my phone is a Google pixel 8 pro, but my wife is having the same issues on a Samsung. Very frustrated

Re: In Canada but after 4 days data stopped working

Hi Skyranger

My fix for the problem was for an iPhone, so the equivalent of SIM applications on an Android phone is the SIM Toolkit or USIM Application Toolkit (USAT) setting, and try changing the roaming setting to 'Sky settings' only ( if that's an option in Android).
That said, I went back to the US today. Everything carried on working until I switched the phone off and on, and then mobile data ceased to work. Whilst it had picked up AT&T as a provider (instead of SOS in Canada) it wouldn't work until I went into SIM applications and selected 'automatic' leaving 'sky settings' selected as well.
Hope this helps 🙂
