In Canada but after 4 days data stopped working

My son and I have been here for four days and data roaming worked. Spend cap and data roaming cap is off. But now it's stopped for both SIM cards. Cant get hold of anyone from sky to speak to on online chat and don't want to spend to call from abroad! Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks !

We arrived in Canada on Sunday 16th and all was fine then this morning Thursday 20th nothing. Data roaming on no caps but only way to get online is to use an unsecured WiFi hotspot. 

any help would be appreciated as not been able to contact home all day

Glad to know we are not alone in this issue even though we've not found a solution! Hopefully someone can help as kind of stuck having followed all the bot ideas and turned phone off and on again multiple times!

Same here in British Columbia, working fine for the last twenty days then this afternoon nothing, I can dial the UK and receive sms (but not MMS/rcs), but Bell appear to have just turned off data for me, and none of the other networks in this area are Sky partners.

Roaming data unavailable, but sky have just charged for another roaming passport.

My roaming in Canada has been fine for th least twenty days but at around 3pm today (Canadian time - 10pm UK time) it stopped working, I have just (10pm Canadian - 5am UK ) received an sms to say they've started another 24 hours roaming passport charge, that I'm definitely going to dispute on next months bill as it's definitely not working.

We've had the same issue in America. Been here for just over a week Andy no issues, then suddenly, all 3 devices on Sky stopped working without WiFi. We've tried following the Sky automated advice but nothing has worked. Soon to be driving about 300 miles so access to an online map would've been extremely useful.

Same here in Ontario - received the data roaming message, updated mobile settings, checked cap limits and still nothing. 3 calls to sky and it has been escalated. arrived yesterday and no data since being here

Yours is the only post I've seen today mentioning issues in Turkey. I've seen one post regarding New Zealand and a few for both Canada and the US.

Just got this update from "Rachel" on sky's online chat eventually after convincing here that I'm not an idiot and it's not my device setup.

 

"Thanks for your patience , I've checked, and it seems there is currently a roaming issue affecting all UK customers in the USA, including EE, Vodafone, Sky, and others. Since this issue is widespread, it will be resolved automatically, and your connection should start working again soon."

No ETA on a fix but it does sound like there is some awareness of the problem.

Data Roaming

I have been in Canada for a month now and yesterday my data stopped working, I called customer service more than 10 times and I did all they asked but the roaming still did not work. I still receive text that am being charge but I still  can't browse
