If I use less than 10mb a day in USA will RPP not activate and I will not be charged for data?

Hi

I'm off to USA in August and wondered if I am a low data user and use less that 10MB a day, am I right in thinking ther will not be any charges for data as I am using under the daily limit for Roaming Passport Plus to trigger?

@Jonbooy In theory yes, although any texts or calls would trigger the roaming passport.

In reality using any app will almost certainly use more than 10mb of data almost immediatley.

Hi @Jonbooy  as mentioned  by @daveNOS  10m is a minute amount of data and simply by having data turned on in your settings would allow that to be used in seconds thus triggering the £2 charge.

I'm in the USA currently and you don't seem to get any data before the passport is activated.  (As noted 10MB is tiny and easily exceeded anyway)

It used to be £6 a day so £2 for data, calls etc. seems a good deal to me!  So far worked perfectly with AT&T.
