I have changed the charger and used another charging point and it won't charge

Check that the charging port doesn't have fluff in it, either by checking how far the charging cable connector is going into the charging port (compare with another iPhone) or take a wooden toothpick and srape in the charging port. You'll be surprised how much fluff can get in especially if you have your phone in back pockets etc.
