I used a PAC code and I now receive texts from my old number but sending them uses the new sky no.

I have recently moved over to sky from Vodafone and used a PAC to keep my old number. It was updated yesterday and so I now receive texts and calls to my old number which is what I wanted however if I call or text someone it uses the new sky number and not my old, transferred number. What do I do?

Hi @Ben987  if this is an iPhone go to settings, phone, my number and check the number stored there, change it to the one you want and save then restart your phone. It may take a few attempts for it to save.

Hi @Ben987  if this is an iPhone go to settings, phone, my number and check the number stored there, change it to the one you want and save then restart your phone. It may take a few attempts for it to save.

Having same issue with a Samsung phone. Can anyone help? Calls from ported number, but text messages sending from the 'sky new phone' number. So frustrating

You need to do what @63johnw posted above so try this:

 

About Phone > My Phone number, change it and reboot the phone.

In that case @AMA05 I would order yourself a replacement sim as that should come with this number:
