I'm not able to convert my sim to esim. I called the customer service representative and as per his advice I ordered a replacement sim and tried to convert my sim to esim. I still not able to succeed in converting to esim. When ever I try to convert to esim and select the number to get the security code, the apps error message says "sending message failed".

Its been doing this for weeks, no idea if Sky are working on resolving it.

You've been fobbed off. I have 3 sims on my account and cannot convert any of them. It's been ongoing for months. A very poor showing from sky mobile. I'll be changing at the end of my contract.

Same issue - Sky have no option but to allow cancellation without early termination charges - as they can not deliver the service required.
I've been without ability to make calls or receive them for more than two weeks. Endless calls to them and broken promises and misinformation - to a customer of 22 years.
There is clearly a much bigger global issue that they have no idea how to fix.

As of this morning the issue seems to be resolved. I have now been successfully able to convert to eSIM!
