I have changed my SIM plan as I kept running out of data however I never received the data?

I changed my data plan however I never received the new data amount?

Did you make sure it was applied to the sim you have got or did you in error order a new sim ?

The email I received says my SIM and had a text to say it's changed and I can start making the most of it straight away so I'm not sure
