I changed my plan to what I was told was £32 but it’s £61

Hi all

when I moved over to Sky in June I was originally on a contract where I was paying £42 a month for  20gb.

This simply never lasted and after 3 weeks I'd run out of data.I was excited therefore when I saw on the sky website a much better deal being promoted:75gb for only £32.

i went into the Sky shop in Leeds to check that this was a bona fide deal and that £32 is ALL I would pay. They confirmed this and reassured me £32 is all I would pay.

On the first month,I paid the  months final  £42 plus the new £32-I'd expected this.

However, today I discovered that they have just started charging me £61 for my monthly charge!!

I know nobody who pays this huge amount and I certainly can't afford it.I feel like I've been tricked abd deceived by the offer on the Sky website, and mislead by the staff in the store.

The advert didn't tell me that an extra £29 would be taken off to pay for the cost of the phone.

I feel like I've been the victim of a confidence trick and misleading promotion and I'm furious.

What can I do?

Sounds like you have a phone on credit?  The cost of this has to be paid on top of any data plan you have.

Sounds like the 'all you pay' was about the data plan only?

£32 for the plan and £29 for the phone is £61.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
