I changed mobile network to sky I can’t use phone because the data not working, says no SIM card ca

I changed mobile to sky but can't use phone no data it says no SIM card but it has one in tanks for any help

Sky services did before sending it to me, when I got the phone it was still using my old  network with sky SIM card but just stopped working now

Hi @Dennishibb  sky don't activate SIM cards before sending them. You need to do that via your account or in the my sky app.

Hi a had a 10 gig card and I updated it to 50 gig and the chap on the phone said f he will do it , I've tried to register it and it says it's already done .

Sounds like you need to process it as a replacement SIM.

 

(The change of dataplan is purely an account matter - as per @63johnw I don't believe Sky will/can activate, either new or replacements, SIMs for you)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
