I HAVE A NEW SIM FROM SKY. IT IS NOT WORKING

I HAVE A NEW SIM FROM SKY. I HAD ARRANGED TO CANCEL MY TESCO SUBSCRIPTION TO SWITCH TO SKY. I HAVE INSERTED THE NEW SIM. OBTAINED A PAC CODE FROM TESCO TO ENABLE ME TO KEEP MY NUMBER. I HAVE TRIED TO ACTIVATE IT AND IT WONT WORK. MY PHONE IS SAYING 'NO SERVICE'. I CANNOT CALL SKY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE. THE ROBOT COULD NOT HELP. I HAVE NO PHONE. WHO FROM SKY CAN ASSIST ME? I CANNOT MAKE OR RECEIVE CALLS.

Did you actaully manage to activate the sim so if you go back to where you did this does it showing as being activated ir it is showing as having activated ?
