How to cancel en someone dies

I have 3 mobile contracts with sky

one if which was used by my mother in law 

my mother in law has recently passed away 

can I cancel her contract ?

If you are the account holder then you might not be able to cancel as usually Sky will only cancel an account if it is the account holder that passes away.

That would only apply is the Mother in law is the account holder, can you confirm if this is the case @Mum6 because the way I read your post is that you are the account holder but she used the phone ?

yes I hold the account and have myself my husband and my mother in law on there

@Mum6 Sky will allow you to cancel the SIM if you've had it more than 12 months, they may not if its been less, if you gave your mother a phone that has a credit agreement attached then i don't think Sky will allow that to be cancelled as its not in the name of the person who has passed.
