How do I switch roaming on and off when cruising around Europe

Hi @alwynr  depends on your phone, if it's an iPhone go to settings, mobile data, mobile data options. Also turn off mobile data just to be sure.

Short answer is you can't. I've turned off roaming before leaving uk but am still getting texts from sky tellibng me I will be charged if I use my phone abroad.

Another issue is that I can't receive texts from Australia in UK or anywhere else despite Sky saying there is no problem.

Will be changing to another provider.

Hi @dvon  turning roaming off in your phone settings turns data roaming off, it doesn't stop your phone making or receiving calls or sending or receiving text messages. That's why you still receive the messages warning you will be charged if using your phone abroad.
