Hi I am on holiday in Corfu and have been charged £43 for Albania ? Not been to Albania .

I am in kassiopi in Corfu which is near Albania  over the sea . I have been charged an. Extra £43  for Albania but never been to that country.

Hi @Stellz7  if you look at this link it does warn of this, and specifically mentions Corfu. All you can do is call sky on 150 when you return to ask if they will remove the charges. If you are still there turn off the automatic setting in network selection in your phone and only use one of the local networks.

But your phone did connect to a cellular provider in that country.

As above, it's best to use manual network selection as this is a risk.

This scenario has been reported quite a few times previously on the forum. There's nothing Sky can do to prevent this unfortunately which is why that link provides the warning.

At their closest the island and the mainland are only two miles apart: it's entirely possible that at some point you had a stronger signal from an Albanian mast than a Greek one.
