Help suddenly messages from family to me are going to a random person

Last few days family's messages to me are suddenly being sent to a random stranger and not showing on my message link .... cannot get any help from chat bot an doesn't seem to connect to an advisor

OK, but do you mean texts, voicemail, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or one of many other forms of 'messaging'?

Seems like just text messages, and when my son messaged me on a previous thread I didn't receive it this random person did,  their chat didn't show up my my thread at all ?? They  then phoned him and it showed as me ?...
