I bought a laptop from sky and have been waiting for it to be delivered. They have sent it through DPD and it has been hassle.
I paid extra to have a weekend delivery. On the Sunday morning it was cancelled.
today the driver rang my bell (I live in a flat) and by the time I had got downstairs he had gone. I rang DPD who said to ring sky.
I rang sky to find out if my parcel could be delivered to a drop off point and after waiting for an hour i was cut off.
has anyone got any advice.

Hi @KimR187 all I can suggest is install the DPD app and track your package that way
I've used it on numerous occasions when expecting parcels from Sky
Obviously if you haven't received it you should be able to see the tracking information what time they tried to deliver your package.

Hi, I ordered mobile phone to sky. Sky despatched parcel through dpd. Dpd allowed a time slot on 17 October. I waited for the driver at home but he came or not i am not sure but he didn't knock at the door. Next day i booked a vip delivery and paid for that. I waited for the driver before 30 minutes infront of my door and tracking him by the dpd app. His status was at the time 13:50 was delivering parcel number 19 and my number was 32. I was at the door and my time slot was 13:52 and i got email for dpd " Our driver missed you" with fake image. at 13:53 I contacted with dpd immediately and told them everything and time frame. The responded. Driver will come back to you soon .wait upto 17:30 but driver didn't come. I told everything to the sky. But sky peoples are saying its all at the dpd end. We cannot do anything. My question is, many peoples are complaining about the delivery. Why sky is not taking action on it. Why sky is not allowing to collect device from pickup point and why sky is not changing delivery courier company.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreEvery delivery company out there gets complaints so it wouldn't matter who Sky would go with. As DPD have yet to delivery it then i would suggest registering a complaint both via them and here via Sky:

Hi!
We are currently going through the same thing! New mobile was meant to be delivered Friday by 'JACk', no attempt, fake image, rearranged delivery to the next day.
Saturday comes and goes, 'JACK' again, no attempt, fake picture, we called DPD to rearrange.
Monday 23rd October, timeslot was between 1950 and 2050, 'lordache' no attempt, no picture. And we had tracked him all day and waited by the front door for the delivery window, no van in site, and the usual sorry we missed you.
So tomorrow we are going straight to the DPD depot to see what we can do as no one on the phones seems to care and/or they've stole or lost the parcel and can't admit it. Utter joke. Also having issues with EVRI as well. How hard is it to deliver a parcel.
So any update on your situation? Would love to see how you've managed to resolve it. We are at a loss as no one wants the blame

I ordered a phone for my 85 year old mother on Sunday and Sky passed delivery to DpD.
This morning I began tracking delivery which was between 10am and 11am Monday morning (ir next day) . When the phone didn't arrive I checked the tracking and it said driver was running late to hold on . This message appeared all day until I checked it at 7pm when the message changed to sorry we missed you but the address was also changed to that of my next door neighbour and checking with them no card or call! I spoke to Sky tonight and they are aware of problems and guarantee delivery tomorrow and have stressed to the correct address ! Had I known this I'd have never ordered a phone from Sky and if it doesn't arrive by midday tomorrow o will exercise my rights and cancel the order
