Got a new phone and sim yesterday continuing on sky needs help setting up

Hi, 

yesterday I racieved my new phone and sim deal. It appears tge new sim won't activate. I am want to keep the same mobile number I had before. I am staying with my mobile. I have requested a PAC number but I did this wrong and do not need this.

Hi @Charlotte+Mckerre  if your old sim was also with sky you can't port it to another sky sim. Just use the old sim in the new phone.

...which will be your existing dataplan and not any new one.

 

Any new plan will have a new number if you activate it (sounds like you are selecting replacement) - and you'll be paying for two.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
