Hi @Simonbill__  it will cost £2 per 24 hours use of their home allowance and piggybank. Just make sure roaming and mobile data are on in the phone settings. The charge starts automatically if they make a call, send a text or use some data. Calls to local numbers are charged at international rates. Their phones should be checked to ensure they work in the USA now (volte enabled). If you don't want to incur any charges make sure roaming and mobile data are switched off and the phone placed in flight mode BEFORE leaving the UK. Just use free WiFi when available. It's too late if you wait until you arrive as charges will start as soon as they connect to the local network.
