Gemini free trial with iPhone

I got an iPhone 16 pro partly because the offer included a free trial of Gemini (pro?). I held off using it until I got a bit familiar with AI. I am trying to find details of the promotion now but can't find anything. How do I claim it? .. or did I imagine it?

I suspect so as Apple use their own AI and it would be highly unlikely they'd be an offer for Gemini (by Google which is a competitor).

Although there is an iOS app for it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Mikalourus

There appear to be Gemini Advanced trials bundled with high-end Pixel handsets, which as @PandJ2020 indicates is infinitely more likely than Apple choosing to soil their precious shiny things with a promotion of someone else's AI

The Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold come with a 12–month trial of the Google AI Pro plan at no cost. With the Google AI Pro plan, you get Gemini Advanced, 2 TB of cloud storage, and Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Meet, Sheets, and more.

My own Xiaomi HyperOS (Android) phone is currently offering me one month of Gemini Pro.

Re: Gemini free trial with iPhone

Aah, I remember being torn between the iphone and pixel, I believe that is it. I eventually went with iphone as someone required me using shared notes, theyre a dinosaur but managed to get their head around apples shared notes. Another dissapointment from moving to apple
