Extra charges to my phone bill

My phone bill has increased because of extra charges. It is saying that I've contacted a number which has charged me multiple times but I haven't done this

@MatthewBrookes

Is it calls, or texts to 5 digit premium numbers?

The usual explanation is that you've 'inadvertently' agreed to receive short note messages which are charged.

If it's 5 digit as mentioned above then you need to send STOP to it.

IF so, see https://psauthority.org.uk/

Re: Extra charges to my phone bill

There's something going on. Just noticed that my bill has increased significantly this month with a daily phone call that I haven't made - seemingly to a Northern Ireland landline? Tried ringing the number but there's no answer - just a series of beeps.
